c. To increase or decrease the depth range levels, click the depth range
button such that it rotates in the direction desired. The depth level and its
ranges are specified as follows: -

d. The range depth marker shifts position in accordance with the range
scale, as selected.
e. The draft of the vessel can be incremented/decremented by clicking
the up/down arrow respectively.

f. The user can set the UKC (Under Keel Clearance) alarm by clicking the
incrementing/decrementing button. When a current UKC reduces to a
value below the set point a UKC alarm is raised.
g. The user can set the Shallow Depth Alarm by clicking the
incrementing/decrementing button. When a current depth reduces to a
value below the set point a Shallow Depth alarm is raised.

h. To place a marking line at a particular time during the voyage, click the
mark button as shown in fig-6. This feature enables the user to place a
mark for easy identification,to co-relate this data with other navigational
information.
